KOUS, located in Monroe, LA, acquired its license in 2003. In the nearly 20 years the station has been operational, KOUS has provided the community with entertainment for the old and the young at heart. We are proud of our eclectic musical format, which consists of Gospel, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Zydeco, and Southern
Soul.
Music is but one component of the KOUS Experience as we strive to be an issues-oriented venue, offering information on housing, legal advice, health concerns, and quality-of-life issues that impact our community and its residents. Additionally, we recognize that voting is essential to empowerment, so we emphasize the need to exercise the right to speak through the ballot.
